Reimagined Architecture
House Remodel | Noll Valley
When this client purchased this home nestled in a lovely wooded lot in Noll Valley, it really needed a new look. A quick walk through determined the entire first floor would be redone including a major change to the kitchen.
We designed a huge center island and embraced the structural wood columns/beams by highlighting and wrapping them in cherry wood and stone. Also designed and built the stunning cherry cabinets with onset overlay details.
We opened up walls between the living room and four season porch and also between the kitchen and the hearth room. Here we removed and repurposed a closet in the living room into a self-serve bar, created wood wrapped beams to pull some structural supports that had to be there, but needed to look like they should be there, and added a stone wall and fireplace to an otherwise blank wall. Created a stunning custom mantel giving nod to the craftsman style the home owner loves.
We had the floor removed and replaced, a new coat of paint, added stone and wood panels, faux finished a very visual steel door to the garage in a wood grain, added lighting, new fixtures.
We topped off the remodel with a full furniture package, new rugs, upholstery, case goods, accessories and artwork. What a change!
