Middleton Remodel Before and After Miracles

When you are covered in oak and wallpaper and just know you have more potential than that!  This sleeping beauty was leading just that life until we came along.

Silver Leaf Interiors was hired for the full design build on this package.  At first walk through we could see all kinds of potential.  We opened up the walls between the kitchen and family room and between the family and living  rooms to create a more open floor plan for today’s living.  The first floor powder bathroom was huge! We took some space from that room and shared the extra space with the living room to create a built in bar.  The awkward door to the finished lower level off the foyer was a real traffic jam area. We added an extra leg wall there to create a built in bookcase, but the real reason for that was to create an area for the door to pocket back into! Love a quick solution to a long term problem.  

The kitchen!  Well all the cabinets in this house were designed and built by Silver Leaf Interiors and our team, but the kitchen, it’s a real show stopper!  One of our favorite parts:  dual pocket door work stations for the coffee station and the appliance station. The built in hutch with bead board interior was created for every day dish storage.  The massive center island with oversized fixtures, perfect for entertaining! 

The entire house has a new trim package, flooring and paint.  

The second floor master bath was a complete rework.  We opened up the narrow hallway from the master bedroom leading to the bath by flipping and expanding the master closets to one side and adding a narrow shoe closet. Warning, shoe closet envy ahead!  The layout of the bathroom was a complete gut job and you can see the results of a soaking tub, steam shower and two vanity sinks is just ideal. 

The lower level’s existing wet bar and huge framed in office was all gutted and we opened up the space created a craft/hobby closet in the old bar, moved a new bar around the corner where the old office was located and added a couple tappers, now that’s a home bar!
